[MITgcm-support] questions about nonhydrostatic part

Dear all,
I am currently reading papers about nonhydrostatic module in MITgcm (Marshall et al. 1997).
There is one question that I want to ask:
How is the elliptic problem solved in parallel environment? I have read the source code of MITgcm and found that it is solved on multi-threads. Especially, how to set the boundary conditions of each sub-grid?
