[MITgcm-support] Oscillation in simulation of the Gulf of México

Hello

I think you are just aliasing near inertial waves. I don’t think anything is wrong with your solution. If you want to remove these oscillations just look at time average fields. I think the inertial frequency is 29-30 hours at this latitude.
