Dear all
I am trying to set up a regional experiment in the Prydz Bay with MIT-gcm. However, I have encountered a problem. Now we could calculate with 100 cores normally, but once we increase the cores such as 160 or 256 cores, the model will blow up fastly . All the parameters are same except for the number of cores.
While, we have also tested the ecco2 of the global ocean model, but we could change the number of cores from 100 to 1350 freely!
So how would we go about solving the problems?
The code of the 160 cores setting in the SIZE.h is in the follows:
... PARAMETER ( & sNx = 40, & sNy = 64, & OLx = 5, & OLy = 5, & nSx = 1, & nSy = 1, & nPx = 16, & nPy = 10, & Nx = sNx*nSx*nPx, & Ny = sNy*nSy*nPy, & Nr = 70) Thank you for your considerations!
Xia
