[MITgcm-support] problem with MNC pickup/restart

I am being unconstructive:
Personally, I would never use mnc for writing and reading pickups, because this is far more error prone than using the mds files. For example, you cannot change the number of tiles in the middle of a run, whereas a “global” mds file can be used for any tiling.

Do you have a file “pickup.0000054000.t001.nc” in your directory?
