Hi Patrick,

If resolution is the issue, then yes, I would be very careful with the
atmospheric viscosity/diffusion.

You should also check the atmospheric time step defined as

C atmospheric timestep
        deltaTtracer = deltaT/FLOAT(cheapaml_ntim)

Make sure you increase cheapaml_ntim at high resolution
