[MITgcm-support] metricTerms Flag

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the metricTerms parameter.

The manual indicates on page 109 that the default value for this parameter
is .FALSE. In actuality the default seems to be .TRUE. have I made a
mistake somewhere?

Also exactly what terms are controlled by this parameter? I assume it is
the non-underlined metric terms in equations 1.29 and 1.30. Is that right?

So, to use the "hydrostatic primitive equations" I should use
metricTerms=.TRUE.?
