[MITgcm-support] periodic boundary T/S, but not U/V

Hello modelers,

This may be an odd question, but is there a way to have T/S periodic, 
but not U/V? I am seeing unrealistic waves at the boundary and am 
wondering if it is due to a mismatch between interior density and the 
density actually prescribed (via T/S) on the boundary.
