[MITgcm-support] Interpolation

Hi Lars,
did anyone answer you yet?

I would probably try to average the "mass" flux (there is a  
diagnostic for this, too):

(uVel(i,j,k)*hFacW(i,j,k) + uvel(i+1,j,k)*hFacW(i,j,k))/hFacC(i,j,k)

to get a representative velocitiy at the cell centers (I hope you are  
only using this for diagnostics, though) ...
