I guess it's the CFL-criterion (u*dt/dx should be < 1/2 for a stable
solution), that is killing you. What is the actual amplitude u0=(A/D)*
((2*pi/T)/(2*pi/L))? maybe that's too large now. Either decrease your
u0, or decrease the time step.
