hi MITgcm,
first, i'd like to say thank you to Baylor for z coordinate explanation
now, i have problem about boundary i guess...
i have error message :
SOLUTION IS HEADING OUT OF BOUNDS : tmin,tmax = -1.972E+02 1.062E+03
MON SOLUTION : STOPING CALCULATION
STOP MON SOLUTION : STOPPED DUE TO EXTREME VALUES OF SOLUTION statement executed
i use 2 open boundaries, east and west in obcs_calc.F in internal wave experiment.
OBEu= (A/D)*((2*pi/T)/(2*pi/L))*cos (kx-omega *t), where A=0.1, D= total depth
OBWu= (A/D)*((2*pi/T)/(2*pi/L))*cos (kx-omega *t), where A=0.17, D= total depth
or
OBEu= (A/D)* x*sin (omega *t-theta), where A=0.1, D= total depth, theta= tidal phase difference= 0 degree
OBWu= (A/D)* x*sin (omega *t-theta), where A=0.17, D= total depth, theta= tidal phase difference =174 degree
OBEt, OBWt,OBEw, OBWw (nonhydrostatic) use the same formula with the default in the internal wave experiment.
any idea for my case??
thanks...
regards,
rima
