Dimtris,

thanks, Chris just pointed me to the 
relevant location in ini_curvilinear_grid.F,
so I guess I can take it from there
(and maybe check in that change later).

However, the cubed sphere stuff would be
very helpfull there, Gianmaria really liked the movie.
Plan is to make periodic continuation between 
Strait of Gibraltar and Nile Delta.
