[MITgcm-support] stretched grid

Its fully possible and extremely easy as follows:

 1 either Alistair checks in some code or 
 2 you write/edit about ten lines of code or
 3 Alistair gives you the code he has, you try it and then check it in.

all three are very doable I think!
