[Mitgcm-support] ../../../tools/xmakedepend

the ../../../tools/xmakedepend has
some problems building exp2/ on fjord.mit.edu as mlosch

the problem happends when you do "make depend"
after genmake.

the cc command that xmakedepend invokes includes
the -traditional option. this causes error 
meesages about -traditional not being a valid
flag.

the problem is probably related to which cc is found
by a users search path.
