[MITgcm-devel] drag coefficient parameterization(s)

Patrick,

have you asked the Large and/or Yeager themselves?
I am guessing that this is more of a problem for daily or monthly  
winds which fall below U=11m/s very often, right?

Scaling of C_D according to forcing field producs appears a  
reasonable solution to me. It's not the first time that I hear that  
the bulk formulae have to "in harmony" with the applied forcing fields.
