I guess cx is the number of grid points in the X direction for
1 face of the cube (with 32x32x6 grid, cx=32) ?

In this case, I expect to find DXC(1,:,:) = DXC(cx+1,:,:)
because DXC is located at U point.
Regarding DXG (located at V point), I expect DXG(1,:,:) = DXG(cx,:,:) 
and DXG(:,1,:) = DXG(:,1+cy,:).

In short, the things you find do not surprise me, but may be 
I am wrong.
