[MITgcm-support] How to write only ETA as state variable

Please have a look at the diagnostics package where you can configure output as much as you like. (There are many examples, e.g. in global_ocean.cs32x15) how to use it).
You can turn of the state.*.nc output by setting the dumpFreq=0. and dumpAtInitAndEnd=.FALSE.
