[MITgcm-support] New to MITgcm; any advice appreciated

Hi Katie,

please use the online resoruces at http://mitgcm.org in particular the documentation (https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io) and the tutorial examples (Section 3 about Getting Started and Section 4). Once you have specific questions, it will be easier to help.

The MITgcm is primarily an (ocean) general circulation model. There are a few lake applications (with publications), which you will find easily with a simple google search (I used “mitgcm lake”). Maybe they can serve as starting points?
