[MITgcm-support] Diagnosing GM stream function offline

Dear MITgcm support,


I was going through the code and found that the diagnostics package only outputs the GM stream function when the user runs GM in advective form:

       IF ( GM_AdvForm ) THEN
         CALL DIAGNOSTICS_FILL(GM_PsiX,'GM_PsiX ',0,Nr,1,bi,bj,myThid)
         CALL DIAGNOSTICS_FILL(GM_PsiY,'GM_PsiY ',0,Nr,1,bi,bj,myThid)
       ENDIF

Are there best practices to diagnose the GM stream function when I use the skew flux form for GM?
