[MITgcm-support] Issue setting up GCM

Hello,

I am trying to set up my GCM and I keep getting an error when I am using
the genmake command. The error reads

Error: C pre-processor "cpp -traditional -P" failed the test case: please
specify using:

  1) within the options file ("CPP=...") as specified by "-of=OPTFILE"
  2) the "./genmake_local" file
  3) with the CPP environment variable

I do not know what this means. If you could help I would greatly appreciate
it.
