Hi everyone,
I am using data.obcs file,, I gave salinity and temperature data for Open
Boundary which change with depth. The model is running well. but when I
open STDOUT.0000 file and look at the process, I see that model can not
read open boundary files, because there is no "Opening global file" option
into that. this process is as follows:

1) %MON vort_p_sd                    =   3.4399252198813E-05
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON surfExpan_theta_mean         =
 -1.4217043366897E-09
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON surfExpan_salt_mean          =
 -1.4744377989555E-09
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // End MONITOR dynamic field statistics
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // Begin OBCS MONITOR field statistics
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_N_vVel_max               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_N_vVel_min               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_N_vVel_mean              =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_N_vVel_sd                =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_N_vVel_Int               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_S_vVel_max               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_S_vVel_min               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_S_vVel_mean              =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_S_vVel_sd                =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON obc_S_vVel_Int               =
0.0000000000000E+00
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // End OBCS MONITOR field statistics
(PID.TID 0000.0001) //
=======================================================

I think the value of Zero above means that Model doesn't read Open Boundary
files.

My data.obcs is as;

# Open-boundaries
 &OBCS_PARM01
 OB_Jsouth(8:504)=497*1,
 OB_Jnorth(6:315)=310*-1,
&
 OBCSfixTopo = .TRUE.,
 useOBCSprescribe=.TRUE.,
#
 OBStFile='tSouth.bin',
 OBSsFile='sSouth.bin',
 OBNtFile='tNorth.bin',
 OBNsFile='sNorth.bin',
#
 &

Thank you so much for any help,
Saeid
