[MITgcm-support] passive tracer sampled by flt

Hi all,

In a simple setup, I've enabled both flt and ptracer packages. By default, the float tracked by flt package will sample the T/S automatically. I wonder if the float can sample the passive tracers simutaneously in the sample run, as I really want to see the along-track variation of the ptracer.

I may have to do the sampling offline, if flt cannot sample ptracer automatically. In doing so, I found that the flt trajectory output do not contain the initial record (the position at the release time). In my case, I released a lot of floats and it is not easy to recover where a specific float was deployed. Is there a 'dumpInitialAndLast' flag for flt package similar to the standard model output so that the output trajectory file contains all the information from the deployment (and I don't have to insert a initial record before the subsequent traj outputs).
