Hi Andy,
Could you keep my informed about the first post please? I'm approaching the end of my PhD and want to keep my finger on the pulse!
Thanks!
Neil

Subject: [MITgcm-support] Ocean modelling opportunities in Australia
Hi MITgcm users,
I would like to announce some upcoming opportunities in Australia for scientists with expertise in ocean modelling. It's likely that we'll be advertising two positions in the next few months:
- A postdoctoral fellow position, focusing on development, configuration, evaluation and research using high-resolution global ocean-sea ice models; and
- A more technical (software engineer) role to support our development and configuration goals.
The project will be based initially around MOM5, but will graduate to MOM6 in later years.
These advertisements won't appear until the new year, but if you may be interested in applying for either of these roles (or you know of any potential applicants), please let me know and I will keep you informed of developments.
Regards
Andy
