[MITgcm-support] NetCDF fields on a latitude/longitude grid

Dear users,

I am using MITgcm for the Arctic. I have a NetCDF file with a variable
(VAR) on the i and j grid. I have a separate NetCDF file (grid files) with
XC (longitudes) and YC (latitudes) also on the i and j grid. I would like
to get VAR saved in a NetCDF file, but gridded on the longitude/latitude
grid and not on the i/j grid. Would you have a tip to do this with Ferret
and/or Matlab/Octave?
