[MITgcm-support] question on the time for the obcs data

Hi Zhenhua,
the parameters in exp4/input/data mean that the interval between two forcing time slices is 21600seconds (externForcingPeriod), and that after 43200sec (externForcingCycle) the model starts at the first forcing time slice again. The forcing fields are assumed to be in the center of the interval, if I am not mistaken. In this example there are only two forcing time slices. If you want to have twelve (say twelve “months” of 30 days), that repeat themselves after one year (360 days) it should look like this:
