Hi Jonny, I was just about to write instructions for running config.
Do you have any further messages at tail end of STDOUT.* or STDERR.* ?
Have you copied all the obcs files to your runtime directory?

Hi

Right I think we are making some progress... I am now using the input files from http://ecco2.jpl.nasa.gov/data1/arctic/run_template2/ as suggested THANKS!

The error I am now getting is...

(PID.TID 0000.0001) ** Warning ** DIAGNOSTICS_READPARMS: ignores "data.diagnostics" file since
(PID.TID 0000.0001) ** Warning ** DIAGNOSTICS_READPARMS: useDiagnostics= F (set from "data.pkg")

(PID.TID 0000.0001) *** ERROR *** MDS_READ_SEC_XZ: Files DO not exist

The only error in this (as opposed to a warning!) is

(PID.TID 0000.0001) *** ERROR *** MDS_READ_SEC_XZ: Files DO not exist

I does not seem to actually say which riles are missing however... Does this look familiar?

Many thanks

Jonny

Hi Jonny, the *.bin files are available here:

I thought that you had already downloaded them?
As Patrick says, the CVS server only contains
code files you need to compile and the input
parameter files for running the code. For the binary
files that specify grid configuration, surface
forcing, and boundary conditions, you can use the
ones from http://ecco2.jpl.nasa.gov/data1/arctic/run_template2/
and http://ecco2.jpl.nasa.gov/data2/data/atmos/

I will try to check-in a readme file later today that makes this explicit.

Cheers
