Hi Fanny,

There are quite a few of us using HECToR out here! Perhaps surprisingly, you should find that HECToR's default options for ftn, build modules, and run scripts all work straight out of the box - I last verified this about a month ago. I can happily send through build_options files and scripts etc to you, or anyone else interested.

Cheers,

Paul Holland (British Antarctic Survey)

Dear all,

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to compile the MITgcm model on a Cray XE6 system? I'm trying the set the model up on the UK national supercomputer HECToR. Cray uses its own 'ftn' compiler and 'aprun' command.

Any help is welcome.

Wishes from Bristol
Fanny
