Thanks, Martin.

Yes, I want to know how to diagnose those terms related to freshwater flux in sea ice covered region, including 1-4 and advections of ice and snow.

I don't see your question.

In the model there is
1. Precip = water in melting conditions that trickles through the ice, or snow under freezing conditions that accumulates
2. Runoff goes directly into the water
3. Evaporation/Sublimation
4. Freezing/melting term
The sum of this is EmPmR (=fresh water flux) below the ice (after the ice has done its thing).
Above the ice there is SIatmFW (Precip-Evap/sublimation-Runoff)

There is (lateral) advection if ice and advection of snow, which can also be diagnosed.

As usual, I recommend posting specific questions on the mailing list mitgcm-support at mitgcm.org

Generally, freshwater flux consists of P-E+runoff and net sea ice melting/freezing term, but precipitation can fall as snow onto sea ice. If considering snow transport by sea ice, we have to know net sea ice and snow formation or melting at one grid.
