David thank you. For some reason, I thought you were running the higher-res configurations.
An or Bruno, would you happen to have a copy of original package?
I will try to compile info in one place, probably under CVS and/or ecco2 web site.
Note that this is for the 18km version.

Dimitris,
Here are the configuration files for the two experiments I'm running.
To start out, the easiest would indeed be to get the package An sent us in its original form. Bruno, do you still have a copy of it ? I got it running in no time.
These files from An go hand in hand with model version c63r (from cvs). Here is the message An sent me about this:
It took me a bit longer to reply to you because I was testing with the latest codes and running into some hiccups during compilation. If for some reason you get errors while compiling c63r (I do not anticipate, but it could happen because the exact date I checked out was 06/Aug/2012), try c63q (30/Jul/2012). You can track the checkpoint dates here:

As for the forcings, I used JRA25 for which we did a small 3-hr time-shift corrections for rain/dsw/dlw to get them line up properly.

Lastly, I'm very skeptical of the report of a very big (+5degC in Arctic) bias in JRA25 that we saw in a presentation by Michael Karcher at the last AOMIP meeting. During my last few years of using JRA25, I have not seen any evidence supporting that analysis. Independently Ayan Chaudhuri at AER (who was also at AOMIP) had looked at JRA25 and didn't believe that bias either.
