[MITgcm-support] quasi-hydrostatic options for atmosphere

Hi,

I remember there was an option for quasi-hydrostatic atmosphere
in MITgcm long time ago. But I can only find it for ocean models now. 
Has this
option been removed for atmosphere? Any particular reason for not using
this for atmosphere?

I still see quasi-hydrostatic and quasi-nonhydrostatic are listed 
options for
atmosphere in manual (see section 1.3.4.4).
