[MITgcm-support] verification global1x1 input files

Hi Jake,

global1x1_tot is not a real verification exp.,
it's been used to keep the old ECCO config. in CVS
(better placed in MITgcm_contrib),
and by now hopelessly out of date.

All input is still available, but perhaps better
to use more up-to-date configurations, depending on 
what you'd like to do.
