[MITgcm-support] MITgcm performance on new AMD and Intel chips

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has experience running MITgcm on systems with the new AMD 6100 ("magny-cours") 
and Intel Xeon 5600 ("Westmere") series chips. These are the ones with up to 12 cores. It would be great if you 
could comment on performance, and better still if you have any benchmark numbers to share.
