Hi Ryan,

Or use matlab to write a pickup_ptracer file using your ini.  
cond....its pretty easy....I'm pretty sure I've done it before so  
send me an email if you want me to dig out my old code.
Basically it just needs to obey the convention of:  
ptracers_read_pickup.F
A nice way to do it is to let the model run 1 time step and dump a  
pickup...then just alter that template.
