[MITgcm-support] MITgcm on the Mac

Patrick, Martin, Guillaume, Gael, and other MITgcm Mac users, what is the 
officially sanctioned way of running MITgcm on the Mac?  What compiler, MPI 
implementation, etc., do people use?  Is there a preferred way to add proper 
support for emacs, TeX, etc.?  Is there an up-to-date MITgcm discussion thread 
that discusses these choices?  Dimitris
