[MITgcm-support] how to use mitgcm

Hi,
 I am currently working on "Weather forecasting using HIRLAM model". We have solved the initial equations. Just now i installed mitgcm. In paper the variables are defined and calculated on a staggered grid. How can this be done using MITgcm? can any existing code can be edited? are there any tutorials? Pls help.
