[MITgcm-support] Inital velocities

Hello,

I want to specify the initial horizontal and vertical velocities in  
my simulation.  I'm not finding an easy way of doing that.  Does one  
exist?  If not, any hints on how I could hack one?

For reference, I want to start with a known wave solution and allow  
it to evolve freely after initialization.
