[MITgcm-support] Problem with *nc output

On SGI altix and origin, I had same experience as above but this was for binary 
output.  Galen, I believe, is using netcdf output.  Not sure if globalFiles and 
useSingleCpuIO flags are applied to netcdf output?  D.
