[MITgcm-support] variable state file output

Dear Mitgcm'ers

I am working on pv fluxes in a model of the north atlantic basin and 
some of my calculations require the d/dt terms from the model. These 
are output as gUnm1,... in the pickup files but I would like them in 
the state files for my calculations. Has anyone tried doing this before 
or have any suggestions as to which pieces of code to adjust?
