Geof, so what you describe sounds like a possible bug but not in the
ALLOW_3D_DIFFKR part of the code. What do you specify for surface forcing?
Could salinity evolve because of your surface forcing, hence causing the changes
that you observe?
Could you plot vertical sections of salinity as a function of time ... but
please do not attach to you e-mail messages if you mail to support list as the
list server is not meant to handle large messsages. If you could put then on a
http or ftp site and provide links that would be best. Or you can e-mail them
to me separately as attachments in a private message.
