Sir,

I want to configure the MITgcm for the
Antarctic region and carry out simulation
studies in the region, as done in the research
paper attached with this mail.

I have already run three of the inbuilt verification exp.
(1) lab_sea
(2) global_ocean.90x40x15
(3) sea ice exp. s12t_16x32 and s24t_8x32

I want to know where can I start modifying
these experiments so as to produce the desired
results of the research paper.

When I run the s12t_16x32 exp.
using the command

$ mpirun -np 1 ./mitgcmuv

it is not showing the calculations but
only giving

STOP NORMAL END
STOP

 I want to write the output in a separate file
and see the calculations. So where shall
I change the model ?

Output files are created for s12t_16x32 and I
have plotted the output using matlab,
but this is for 20 timesteps only,
and covers the whole globe.

I want to concentrate on the Antarctic region only,
and run the model for 8-10 yrs.

Thanking You,

Yours Sincerely,

Amitabh Mitra
