[MITgcm-support]*.m files with Octave

Hi Lee,
I haven't tried those with octave. The gluemnc script in utils/
scripts/gluemnc and its component xplodemnc work without matlab.
They only require the installation of the netcdf nco operators, which
are freeware. You can get them at nco.sourceforge.net.
