Hi David,

Yes, adding vertical coordinate variables to all of our diagnostics
output is certainly on our to-do list.  Please be patient with us!  :-)

Most of the software is in place and only a little more effort is needed
to specify the vertical coordinate values for all of our various
diagnostics types (which includes vertically interpolated values,
"gridalt" quantities, etc.).
