hello all-

have you tried .../mpi-1.2.4..8a-gm-1.5/intel/bin/mpicc ?

which references node:/opt/compiler60/ia32/bin/icc

[ts at myrinet-4-01 bin]$ ./icc -help | head -2
                       Intel(R) C++ Compiler Help
                       ==========================

[ts at myrinet-4-01 ts]$ export MPIDIR=/usr/local/pkg/mpi/mpi-1.2.4..8a-gm-1.5/intel
[ts at myrinet-4-01 ts]$ $MPIDIR/bin/mpicc -o mpi-test simple-mpi.C -I $MPIDIR/include -L $MPIDIR/lib -lmpich
simple-mpi.C

appears to work. let me know if this is not the case for you.
