[MITgcm-support] Model-output unreadable...

Hello again,

I have encountered a little problem with the model output files... the
Matlab routine rdmds.m won't read any of them anymore. I have a feeling
it might have something to do with the way the output files are formated
from looking at the Matlab error message and at the program rdmds.m:

??? Error using ==> rdmds (myrdda)
Not enough data was available to be read: off EOF?

Error in ==> /home/ulrike/openbcs/rdmds.m (localrdmds)
On line 292  ==>   A(:,r)=myrdda(dname,ldims,recnum(r),'real*8',ieee);

Error in ==> /home/ulrike/openbcs/rdmds.m
On line 158  ==> [A,N] = localrdmds([Dir allfiles(j).name],ieee,recnum);

The major change I made since the last run (where this was not a
problem) was that I set the model up with open boundaries in the west
and south using the OBCS package. Could that have changed the formating
of the output files????

Thanks
Uli
