[MITgcm-support] Curvilinear grid

Dr Adcroft,
I was reading your answer to Patrick Heimbach, and I hope you can give
me some advise. I am using the model with a cylindrical grid that I
generated based on what is said in GRID.h and in the documentation. I
realized that the model assumed I was on a cube grid for example when is
making the coriolis parameter to vary in the domain. I changed this so
my coriolis was constant in the domain (in ini_params.F), and turned off
the metric terms. I also use the invariant form of the momentum
equations. However my runs using this are not completely satisfactory.
And I was wondering where else does the model assume that I am on a cube
grid?
Thanks,
Sergio Jaramillo
