Hi Sergio,

Glad you got the flt package working for your experiment.  And I'm
sorry, I don't know how to answer your question about the dissipation
and viscosity.  Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could step in here
with a few words of wisdom?

In any case, it would be very nice if we could eventually:

  1) add your 3D flt extensions to the main MITgcm code, and

  2) create 2D and/or 3D flt test case(es) within the verification 
     directory that work with the "testreport" script.

So please consider sharing your new and/or modified code with us.  I'll
do everything I can to make it easy to incorporate your changes (just
email the files) and see that you get credit for them in the
documentation.
