i was aware of the november notes and UFS and HFS+. 
i didn/t want to create a UFS partition on my non-pristine system.

so do we update CVS to obtain the genmake2 mods or do we download genmake2 from somewhere?
sorry if this is pedantic, but i/m still not sure what your answer was to my question.
