See guys,
everybody seems to want the external forcing package...
In patch 4 of release1 (release1_p4) I've made changes
so that it can now be used without having to
define ECCO_PACKAGE.

Dear Gentlemen:
We at the Weather Service in Peru, are very interested in using the
MITgcm to simulate
some regional circulations, atmospheric and oceanic, in South America.
In particular we
would like to run a regional oceanic model for the Peru coast where the
upwelling and
coastal Kelvin waves are common phenomena.

The question is how we can handle the initial and boundary conditions,
which we are
thinking in obtainning from a Pacific Oceanic run from NCEP. We also can
use some
data from local measurements in regional cruisses.

Although we have not finished reading the documentation, in a first
reading we could not
find an answer to our question. Please accept our apologies in case the
answer is in
the manual.

Thanks for your time
Angel Cornejo
