Hi Dimitris,

My North Atlantic 1deg model seems to be running fine with the atmospheric
state read from exf (my configuration is very similar to your labsea expt.
10). Your changes look great to me: the documentation is good, and I like
the uniform treatment of pkg/exf and pkg/seaice.

I'll try a long run and let you know if I hit any problems.
