I think everything is close to finsihed. I fixed the imbecilic things
you asked me to. GM is packaged with several tapering options.
The Large et al. tapering isn't quite finished because I need
to let it know about Coriolis but that's a detail.

Let me know what you think. I haven't checkpointed any of this
yet.  I thought we should do another round of review first.
