Patrick in fact added the xx_genarr2d_weight, xx_genarr3d_weight, xx_gentim2d_weight
specifications (sorry for the confusion; I was thinking of cost functions) dating
back 20 months. wunit was left there as a comment for some reason.

Yes that would interfere with recent and ongoing development.
I think you have everything you need to do what you
were doing but through run time parameters.
Can you confirm that is the case after you tried?
